Matthew Dowd, ABC News’ Chief Political Analyst, appeared on ABC’s “This Week” Sunday morning. During the panel discussion, he slammed President Trump for “violating” the “treaty” between the U.S. and Iran. As everyone knows — or should know — the Iran deal is called the Iran deal BECAUSE IT’S NOT A TREATY:

Dowd later apologized for misspeaking but everyone on that panel will have been fully aware that there was NO TREATY. This was Fake News and they all knew it. He was lying and he knew it.
I misspoke on @ThisWeekABC today and called the Iran deal a treaty and not more accurately an agreement. Point still stands. Who would have thought the US would be first in violation of this and not Iran.

Still trying to perpetuate the Fake News:
What’s the “violation?” https://t.co/WUWeQQj5dg

The “violation” in question was honestly speaking about Iran’s multiple violations before the ink was dry on this so called agreement and invalidating what the previous administration crowed as a crowing achievement.

They all just carried on as though there was a Treaty. It’s all make believe,

And, as NRO’s Andrew McCarthy so rightfully points out, our allies know that then President Obama did not have the “power to unilaterally bind the United States to an international agreement”:
