The hilarious and deadly accurate cartoon below says everything that needs to be said about socialist darling and “future of the Democrat party” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez:
Another lesson in “what goes up fast, comes down hard” as she quickly goes out in a blaze of her own ignorance and stupidity.
The Federalist Papers explains,
Here’s Why Everyone is Laughing at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Today
Everyone is laughing at socialist darling and “future of the Democrat party” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez today because she’s claiming she’s suffered from “imperialism:”
Despite having a comfortable childhood in the Bronx before moving at age 5 to the affluent New York suburb of Yorktown Heights, she claims she came from “poverty.”
While campaigning in Hawaii for Democratic congressional candidate Kaniela Ing, Ocasio-Cortez expressed a kinship with him because both of them had been “shaped by the exact same forces” such as “runaway income inequality” and “poverty.”
But there is no comparison. While the teenage Ocasio-Cortez was attending Yorktown High School, a prestigious school offering academic electives and lacrosse, Ing was forced by the death of his father to work in the pineapple fields of Hawaii while a teenager.
Nevertheless, Ocasio-Cortez believes they share a similar economic background and in addition — in that cliched slogan of the left — both suffered through “an unaddressed history of imperialism.”
She also said Hawaii felt like a “kindred home” because she also comes “from a place of colonized people.”
Never mind the fact that Ocasio-Cortez attended Boston University on a scholarship, interned for U.S. Sen. Ted Kennedy and then worked at a digital marketing company.
And if the United States truly was the fascist country she portrays it to be, she would be harassed or imprisoned for belonging to the Democratic Socialists of America.
She is not.
What a joke she has become. The gift that keeps on giving for the GOP.
This is not the first time she’s made a complete fool of herself:
During an interview with “Pod Save America” host Jon Lovett, New York Democratic Socialist and “future of the Deocratic party” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was asked for details as to how she would pay for her programs and ideas.
What she said next, basically that she had no idea how to pay for things, is why everyone makes fun of her:
Lovett prompted the descent into puffery and sound and fury signifying nothing by stating:
We don’t talk about what defense costs; we’re about to hit a trillion dollars in debt because of the corporate tax cuts; yet when we talk about pre-K, healthcare, college, suddenly it’s unrealistic because of the cost. And it’s not just bad faith Republicans that make that argument; you hear it from Democrats as well. What’s your response to that?
