Anderson Cooper Cuts Interview With Trump Rape Accuser When She Describes Rape As ‘Sexy’ [VIDEO]

June 25, 2019 by Liberty Bugle Team

A clearly uncomfortable CNN host Anderson Cooper quickly cut to a commercial break when Elle advice columnist E. Jean Carroll starting talking about how rape was “sexy.”

Carroll is the woman who accused President Donald Trump of raping her in the mid 90s at a Bergdorf Goodman luxury department store on Fifth Avenue — in the middle of rush hour.

BizPac Review Reports:

The fanciful allegation is included in her new book out next week, “What Do We Need Men For? A Modest Proposal.”

Appearing on CNN, Carroll was asked by Cooper if she felt like she was a victim and that’s when the wheels started falling off in the bizarre interview.

“I was not thrown on the ground and ravaged,” Carroll said, denying that she was a victim. “The word rape carries so many sexual connotations. This was not sexual. It just hurt.”

Cooper interjected to say most people think of rape as “a violent assault,” a comment that was supportive of what Carroll had just said.

But she blew that assist out of the water.

“I think most people think of rape as being sexy. They think of the fantasies,” Carroll said, matter-of-factly.

A stuttering Cooper couldn’t cut to break fast enough — but he wasn’t quick enough on the draw to avoid a full scale disaster.

“You’re fascinating to talk to,” Carroll then said, with a gleam in her eye and no trace of emotion over talking about being raped.

Cooper can be heard awkwardly laughing as the feed cut to break.

For the record, President Trump told The Hill that the 75-year-old advice columnist was “totally lying.”

“I don’t know anything about her,” the president said. “I know nothing about this woman. I know nothing about her. She is — it’s just a terrible thing that people can make statements like that.”

New York Magazine published an early excerpt of Carroll’s new book last week, which included the rape allegation against Trump. This being part of her “Most Hideous Men of My Life List.”

“It is a list of the 21 most revolting scoundrels I have ever met,” Carroll explained, and Trump is one of “the few choice specimens” from “this cavalcade of 21 assholes.”

She also claimed Les Moonves, the former head of CBS, forced himself on her after an interview.

The CNN interview brought to mind deranged comedian Kathy Griffin, who declared that Trump “broke me” after she posted a short video of herself holding a decapitated likeness of the president.

An overriding theme in the online responses to Carroll’s media tour is that the woman does not appear to be well — that and the suggestion that the Trump-hating media are exploiting someone who may be ill.

Here’s a sampling of other responses from Twitter:

This is a really cringeworthy exchange between Carroll and Cooper, with Carroll saying that most people think of rape as “sexy” followed by “think of the fantasies.” https://t.co/RY7jiB5TAp

I think a lot of people are starting to come to the same conclusion about this woman and honestly it’s pretty sad to see a news network exploit her https://t.co/yUpdYm96Eo

Crackpot or performance artist? https://t.co/Vks2SEE7hk

My mom is mentally ill, in an institution, I’ve been inside those paces and this makes me really sad for this woman and the rage I feel for exploiters like @andersoncooper is hard to put into words and probably better not put into words. https://t.co/i3j1Ocp1FH

He has an excuse. He hit his head riding with no helmet. 🤯

Public accusations of assault with contemporaneous corroboration ought to be investigated with the utmost seriousness. Between the book release, staged magazine cover, & now these increasingly odd statements, E. Jean Carroll is demonstrating how to undermine that seriousness. https://t.co/WfoYM4rFJy

Did she just hit on Anderson Cooper?
