The still bitter and smarting Hillary Clinton is set to return to the US political spotlight with a book about her race for the White House against Donald Trump.

The book will explain Clinton’s ferocious struggle for the White House, which ultimately led her to losing to Donald Trump in a tumultuous US election.

As part of her poltiical comeback, Hillary Clinton is also rumoured to be planning a television career, with a show similar to Oprah, which would be a way to give her a good standing for a 2020 election bid.
A collection of essays based on quotes Clinton has used throughout her political life will be revealed in the book.

Clinton said: “These quotes have helped me celebrate the good times, laugh at the absurd times, persevere during the hard times and deepen the appreciation of all life has to offer.
“I hope by sharing these words and my thoughts about them, the essays will be meaningful for readers.”
There have also been rumours that Clinton may consider running for Mayor of New York City.
Clinton has continued to be a strong critic of President Trump’s policies.
After President Trump’s controversial travel ban, she tweeted: “I stand with the people gathered across the country tonight defending our values and our Constitution. This is not who we are.”
The book will be published by Simon & Schuster, but it is not known how much Clinton is being paid.
Simon & Schuster spokeswoman Carolyn Reidy said: “We are delighted that Secretary Clinton finally thinks the time is right to share the words and thoughts that nourished and enriched her, and defined the experiences of her extraordinary life.”
