Police also won’t say if the shooter is among the dead or is on the run, but they do not believe this is an active shooter situation. They have confirmed that a number of search warrants are in the process of being served. The county prosecutor’s office says even the family members of the victims are a bit frustrated by how little is known.
“They’re very upset with the lack of information, I think we all are. They would like to know who’s involved, if there are deceased children involved. We all have a lot of questions and that means their loved ones have a lot of questions as well.”
The County Sheriff is being assisted by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigations. The FBI has also offered resources and there is a cyber crime unit on scene though it’s unclear exactly why. The Ohio governor has also said that he is watching the situation very closely. A motive for the massacre has not been determined at this point.
