Billionaire Charles Koch is the latest big name on the right to criticize Donald Trump’s attack on U.S. District Court Judge Gonzalo Curiel.
“It’s either racist or it’s stereotyping. It’s unacceptable, and it’s taking the country in the wrong direction,” he told USA Today in an interview published on Wednesday.Despite condemning his attacks on Curiel, the Indiana-born judge presiding over two civil lawsuits against Trump University, Koch’s top aides are set to meet with Trump’s team after it reached out weeks ago, according to the report.
“We are happy to talk to anybody and hope they understand where we’re coming from, and they will have more constructive positions than they’ve had,” Koch said.Despite condemning his attacks on Curiel, the Indiana-born judge presiding over two civil lawsuits against Trump University, Koch’s top aides are set to meet with Trump’s team after it reached out weeks ago, according to the report.
