In a move than seems prophetic to Cruz’s odds of winning the Indiana Primary, Carly Fiorina took a dive of the stage while introducing “your next first family”…
The Cruz campaign has been in free fall ever since Trump swept the North East, so Indiana is critical for him if he is to prevent Trump from reaching 1237 delegates.
But it seems the polls and fate are against him. Trump holds a 15-point lead over Cruz according to results from a new NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist poll.
Trump gets support from 49 percent of likely Republican primary voters — followed by Cruz at 34 percent and John Kasich at 13 percent. If Trump wins by that margin, he would be on the home run towards obtaining the 1,237 delegates he needs to win the Republican nomination on a first ballot at the GOP convention in July.
There is more bad news for Cruz and good news for Trump in the latest head to head Rasmussen Poll between Clinton and Trump. Ted Cruz has long maintained that he is the only candidate that can beat Hillary Clinton, but that again goes against the findings in the poll; which show Trump leading 41% to Clinton’s 39%.
Glenn Beck has called for a 24 hour period of prayer and fasting in the hope of defeating Trump.
“I would like to ask that you, your family and friends join me for a day of prayers, fasting and humility. To beg the Lord to not remove His hand from us. To turn to Him and ask that He will heal our land. Beginning Monday night and running for 24 hours ending on Tuesday will you pray and if possible fast like you have never done before?”
Morning Joe’s Joe Scarborough responded to Beck plea with,
“If I were Glenn Beck, I’d be more concerned about my collapsing TV empire than campaigning.”
So who do you think will win the Indiana Primary?
