The new US President has wasted no time on starting to deliver some of his key promises and signed a series of executive orders this week.
Mr Trump ends his first week in office with a meeting with Theresa May today in a sign that he wishes to bolster the UK-US special relationship.

Here is a look at what Mr Trump has done since his inauguration as US President last Friday.
Building the Mexico-US border wall
One of Mr Trump’s most controversial campaign promises was the vow to make Mexico build a “beautiful wall” on the US-Mexico border.
Earlier this week, he signed an executive order for “impassable physical barrier” and told the press that Mexico would reimburse America.
Mexico has slapped down a suggestion by Mr Trump’s administration that America could impose a 20% tax on Mexican imports to pay for the wall.
Banning refugees from war-torn countries
Mr Trump is preparing to sign an executive order to block the entry of refugees from war-torn Syria, Sudan, Somalia, Iraq, Iran, Libya and Yemen.
Directives this week signalled the end of a ’catch and release’ policy under which illegal immigrants avoid immediate detention and deportation.
These directives also cover hiring more border agents and creating more detention space for illegal immigrants along the southern border.
Overhauling free trade
Mr Trump has signed an executive order to take the US out of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) deal with nations along the rim of the Pacific Ocean.
The new US President said the TTP exit is “great thing” for American workers as he began to overhaul trade in order to put “America first”.
Undoing Barack Obama’s legacy
Mr Trump has signed an executive order to start the process of dismantling Barack Obama’s health reforms known as Obamacare.
The new US President also signed executive orders to remove roadblocks for two controversial oil pipelines – Keystone XL and Dakota Access.
Another order called for the US to “streamline and expedite” all environmental reviews and infrastructure projects in the US.
