As Twitchy reported earlier Thursday, Charles C. W. Cooke wrote a must-read exposé on Rebekah Jones, the fired data scientist and alleged felon in Florida who continues to claim that Gov. Ron DeSantis has been hiding the true death toll from COVID-19 in the state. Drew Holden has picked up on Cooke’s piece and pulled the receipts of all the media outlets that let Jones’s grift go on for so long.

First, quick background.@georebekah earned media fame after she was fired for, purportedly, refusing to “fudge” the #’s on COVID deaths/cases in FL. But as Cooke explains none of her story was (or even could be) true. She never had access to data at all: https://t.co/kkEIOZTQsa

But that of course didn’t stop mainstream outlets from rushing to report how big, bad Governor DeSantis had punished this poor whistleblower supposedly trying to do her job.
