Spent $75.7 million – on broadcast television only! This doesn’t include ads run on cable television.
Kantar Media/CMAG, an ad tracking firm compiled the numbers and estimates the actual dollars spent on negative ads to be $75,723,580.
A pro Marco Rubio group – Conservative Solutions PAC, spent $19.7 million, which equates to one of every four dollars spent attacking Trump. According to CNN, one Rubio ad – “Serious” – was run 3,939 times in a futile effort to slow the Trump Express.

Hillary Clinton’s campaign spent the most of any individual presidential candidate, $5.2 million, on anti-Trump ads. Her latest two salvos are available here.
The campaign of Senator Ted Cruz spent $4.3 million on anti-Trump ads.
Despite the increased negative attacks on Trump, a new Rasmussen Poll has Trump pulling ahead of Clinton in national polls. That begets the question: so what good will all the negative ads produce?
It seems to advance Trump’s prominence, so… roll ’em.
