White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Fox News’ correspondent Peter Doocy have had their fair share of tense exchanges over the departing Press Sec’s tenure.

Peter Doocy offered Psaki his honest assessment of her performance as Press Secretary.

Psaki, who is remaining in her role until May 13th, when incoming press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will take over, will be heading to far-left cable news network MSNBC. Psaki will reportedly host her own show on the network, which is struggling in its primetime ratings in the post-Trump presidency.

During a live taping of the Pod Save America podcast in April, Psaki had shown her disdain for Doocy by indirectly referring him to an “S.O.B.”

“Is he a stupid son of a b*** (bleep) or does he play a stupid son of a (bleep) on TV?” the host asked Psaki.

“Well, he works for a network… that provides people with questions that, nothing personal to any individual, including Peter Doocy, but might make anyone sound like a stupid son of a (bleep),” she said.

Even CNN defended Fox News’ Doocy in a segment over the tiff. It was that bad.

Jen Psaki and Peter Doocy clashed in the aftermath of the incident following the infamous ‘stupid SOB’ incident.
“Why is it that we can sit here in the White House briefing room with no masks, but people can’t sit in an airplane cabin with no masks?” Doocy asked in reference to the national mask mandate being struck down in a federal court in Florida on Monday.

“Well, Peter, I’m not a doctor,” she said condescendingly. “You’re not a doctor that I’m aware of. If you’re a doctor, I wasn’t aware of that today until today. Okay. Not a doctor. Just making sure. I don’t know. ”

The episode was reflective of their oft-tense and fairly combative relationship. Doocy’s classy remarks for Psaki and her snarky reply thus illustrate a stark contrast between the Biden administration and its critics.

Psaki has acted relatively unrestrained in embracing extreme left politics since the reports broke that she will be leaving her position to join MSNBC.

She has defended the Biden administration’s Disinformation Board while brushing aside concerns for Americans’ civil liberties. She has given support for President Biden’s position that abortion should be lawful throughout the United States until the moment of birth.
