Fox News has reportedly terminated Monica Crowley’s contract in the wake of her expected position in President-elect Donald Trump’s administration.

The Fox News analyst confirmed to The Hill that she has been asked to serve as a deputy national security adviser and a Fox News spokesperson confirmed to the Hill that her contract has been terminated.
The 48 year-old loyal Trump supporter was also rumored to have been a possible pick for White House press secretary.
Crowley, who has hosted “The Monica Crowley Show” on radio since 2002, also served as a foreign policy assistant to former President Richard Nixon after he left the White House.

A vocal critic of President Obama and former Secretray of State Hillary Clinton, Crowley is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations and has a Ph.D. in international affairs from Columbia University.
Crowley will serve under retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn, who has been named National Security Advisor. She would also work with KT McFarland, a fellow former Fox News analyst who was added to Trump’s national security team last month.
