‘Freedom Is Slavery, War Is Peace’: Biden Claims Massive Build Back Better Agenda ‘Costs Zero Dollars’

President Joe Biden was criticized for saying Sept. 25 that his “Build Back Better Agenda costs zero dollars.”

“My Build Back Better Agenda costs zero dollars,” the tweet said. “Instead of wasting money on tax breaks, loopholes, and tax evasion for big corporations and the wealthy, we can make a once-in-a-generation investment in working America. And it adds zero dollars to the national debt.”

Democrats are trying to unify behind an infrastructure framework and a $3.5 trillion spending package. The House will begin to debate the infrastructure bill Monday. Pelosi delayed the official vote to Thursday in hopes to coalesce her party and its members, although many reportedly voiced their doubt that the party leader’s endeavors will work in time.

Biden is also trying to encourage his party and the country to support his agenda, including the $3.5 trillion spending package.
