EAU CLAIRE, Wis. — Rudy Giuliani mocked Hillary Clinton and her campaign’s attacks on the Federal Bureau of Investigation for looking at her private email server again, saying on Tuesday: “Hillary is now running against the FBI, not Donald Trump.”
“A week ago, they loved him. Now he’s the worst,” said Giuliani, the former New York mayor and prosecutor who is one of Trump’s most vocal surrogates.
He compared the treatment of FBI Director James Comey by the Clinton campaign to “what they did to Monica Lewinsky.”
Giuliani was among the introducers featured at a rally here in northern Wisconsin and spent much of his time hitting her ethics.
Trump, Giuliani said, would “drain the swamp” of Washington D.C., calling Clinton one of the city’s “swamp dwellers.”
