US taxpayers provide funding to PBS to produce quality programming for its viewers.
During a recent three-minute episode of PBS Kids’ favorite Arthur, two of the show’s central characters discuss seeing a video of anyone hurting a black person and they share their feelings of anger and confusion over it.
During the clip, Arthur the aardvark and his best friend, Buster the rabbit, explore the horrors of brutality and racism and the scariness of it all. They ruminate about what they should do. They feel helpless. After all, as Buster says, “I’m only eight.”
Arthur comes up with the idea that their teacher, Mrs McCready, could help. They don’t say where their parents are. So Mrs McCready joins the scene. She agreed with Arthur and Buster about how tragic the event was and how it made her angry, too. She said, “It makes my blood boil.”
The clip is loaded with subtleties. Does PBS intend to have Arthur and Buster indoctrinated into the philosophy behind the violent, Marxist organization, Black Lives Matter?
Goebbells never dreamed of what Democrats do now.
