It’s Not Just Rush Limbaugh Predicting Trump by a LANDSLIDE in November

May 5, 2016 by Kristie McDonald

Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh has made his prediction for the General Election and it’s a Trump victory by a landslide.

Speaking on Wednesday on his radio show Limbaugh said,

“My instinctive feeling right now is that Trump is gonna win, beat Hillary badly, that it could be landslide proportions,”

Limbaugh tapped into much of what America is asking which was,

“why Trump won this… I don’t think they understand at all the reasons people support Trump,” he said.

“And the deeper people are entrenched in politics, and the more they are accustomed to the templates and the handbooks and the theories and the playbooks, the less they’re gonna understand it.”

Millions of dollars were spent and thousands of negative Trump ads were run but nothing stuck.  The #nevertrump movement made no impact on Trump at all, in fact, they just went to strengthen Trump supporter’s resolve.  He continued,

“Against a message like Trump’s, if your counter message is, ‘I’m the most conservative guy running,’ that’s not going to work,”

“Even if you are, and even if you’re good at it, it’s not gonna make a dent. Because none of this is about ideology right now. That’s why everybody’s talking about populism having overtaken conservatism. That hasn’t happened, but at this moment of time it looks like it,”

“In this particular set of circumstances it looks like it. Any number of things that 17 people tried — and Hillary Clinton is next up, and we shall see.”

PRIMARY MODEL forecasting site predict ‘Near-Certain’ to defeat for Hillary in November.  They say that it is,

87%-99% Certain Trump Will Be President if against Clinton and 99% if against Bernie Sanders.

 According to PRIMARY MODEL,

It is a statistical model that relies on presidential primaries and an election cycle as predictors of the vote in the general election.

Winning the early primaries is a major key for electoral victory in November. Trump won the Republican primaries in both New Hampshire and the South Carolina while Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders split the Democratic primaries in those states.

What favors the GOP in 2016 as well, no matter if Trump is the nominee or any other Republican, is the cycle of presidential elections.  After two terms of Democrat Barack Obama in the White House the electoral pendulum is poised to swing to the GOP this year.

Matthew Tully of IndyStar is no fan of Donald Trump but he was impressed by Trump for 2 reasons,

First, there is the undeniable connection he has established with many of his supporters. Few politicians who’ve made a career in the profession have enjoyed anything close to the bond he has with a die-hard band of loyalists who seem unlikely to abandon him no matter how empty his policy promises and how inflammatory his rhetoric.

Second, and this might be even more important, is the belief in the minds of so many critics that he is a primary phenomenon who will have no chance of selling his campaign to a broader general election population. I’ve heard this time and again from Democrats and moderate Republicans. But after watching Trump cruise through Indiana with a relatively disciplined campaign, one that sent his opponents into a tizzy, it seems that too many people are underestimating his skills and appeal.

The interesting point to draw from all of the media shock and surprise over Trump’s presumptive nomination is that everyone but Trump supporters totally underestimated him.  And they’re doing it all over again.  Those that say Trump can’t win in November have learned nothing from the past 11 months.  Trump has 6 months to convince the country that he is the man for the job.  He beat 16 experienced governors and politicians against all the odds and he beat them handily.  He now just has to beat the most flawed of democratic candidates and only a fool would now predict he won’t do it.

What do you think?  Will Trump win by a landslide in November?
