With headlines around the country asking ‘Hoosier Daddy?’, it was obvious Ted Cruz had suffered a humiliating defeat in Indiana.
It wasn’t long before Carly Fiorina was introducing the Cruz family. You may remember 24 hours earlier and just before she fell off the stage, Fiorina was introducing them as America’s next first family, and Ted himself as the next President of the United States. But a day is long time in politics and those dreams and aspirations are now in tatters. This time she introduced Ted for what turned out to be his concession speech.
Cruz was the #nevertrump movement’s last real hope but he has never been that likable. Some called him creepy and some stretched to call him the most miserable SOB they has ever met. His concession speech was about as likable as he gets but even then, somehow managed to elbow his wife in the face,

There are obvious exceptions to Trump’s reconciliation with certain republican members; especially those #nevertrump supporters who would prefer see Hillary Clinton in power than Trump,
“I am confident I can unite much of” the GOP Trump said Wednesday on NBC’s “Today Show. In a shot at his critics, Trump added: “Those people can go away and maybe come back in eight years after we served two terms. Honestly, there are some people I really don’t want.”
So Donald Trump is (or will be) the presumptive nominee. There is still one small sticking point and his name is John Kasich; who has no plans to quit the race.
