Lou Dobbs is gravely concerned over the House leadership elections scheduled for Tuesday. He points out that Paul Ryan repeatedly and publicly betrayed his party’s nominee for president and is running unopposed as House Speaker.
Ryan criticized, mocked, and sneered at Trump. In October Ryan was one of the first Republicans to withdraw his endorsement of Donald Trump. Trump won his state anyway.
Lou Dobbs drew attention to when Trump read the poem of The Snake:
The poem concludes with:
“I saved you,” cried that woman
“And you’ve bit me even, why?
You know your bite is poisonous and now I’m going to die”
“Oh shut up, silly woman,” said the reptile with a grin
“You knew damn well I was a snake before you took me in.
Dobbs is known for his razor sharp intelligence and for speaking his mind. He doesn’t trust Paul Ryan and is sure it’s a bad move to leave him as House Speaker. He said,
“Paul Ryan has made clear to all, to his fellow Republicans, to the nation, what he is and what he’s capable of. And who he is, and there’s no cure for that. I sure do hope I’m wrong about all this. I just don’t have no evidence whatsoever that I am. The rest of it is up to Ryan. We’ll see.”
What do you think?
