Matt Drudge hinted late Thursday that the U.S. government may be behind a major attack against his website, a conservative aggregation page that boosted President-elect Donald Trump in the 2016 election.
The owner of the Drudge Report was referring to the Maryland base where the National Security Agency and U.S. Cyber Command are located.
His question comes hours after President Obama unleashed sanctions against Russia for its alleged hacking of Democratic organizations and officials in the U.S.
The Drudge Report was intermittently down Thursday night under the onslaught of Denial of Service attacks.
