GOP vice presidential nominee Mike Pence says he’s confident he and Donald Trump will accept the election results if they’re “fair,” after Mr. Trump refused to say whether he would definitively accept the outcome of the election during Wednesday’s debate in Nevada.

“What Donald Trump said … he said ‘I’ll look at it at the time,’ ” Mr. Pence said in an interview that aired Thursday on NBC’s “Today” program.
“If the vote is fair, I’m confident that we’ll accept” it, the Indiana governor said.
Mr. Pence, who has decried name-calling in the race, was also asked about Mr. Trump’s calling Hillary Clinton “such a nasty woman” as she was talking about Social Security toward the end of the debate.
“I think it was a pretty rough and tumble debate up there,” Mr. Pence said.
