The mother of the baby that was “kicked out” of Donald Trump’s rally in Virginia last week said she knew the GOP nominee was joking and thanked him for the “comic relief.”
“It was so blown out of proportion,” Devan Ebert said during a Monday night interview on Fox News’s “Hannity.”
“I knew he was joking right from the beginning. It was great he provided that comic relief for me,” Ebert said, adding that it “took the stress off of me.”Trump made headlines last week for gesturing to have the crying baby removed from his rally in Ashburn, Va.
When the baby first interrupted his speech, Trump said, “Don’t worry about that baby, I love babies.”
But as the baby continued to cry during the rally, the real estate mogul changed his tune.
