A study published by the UK’s largest independent statistics producer, the nation’s recognized national statistical institute, reveals natural immunity to Covid-19 offers just as much or even more protection than receiving two experimental shots.
The U.K. Office of National Statistics (ONS) data focused on over 8,000 positive Delta variant coronavirus patients in Britain between May and August.
The study concluded unvaccinated people who recovered from the virus are 71% less likely to be reinfected.
In comparison, fully vaccinated people are 73% less likely to be reinfected with the Pfizer vaccine and just 62% with the AstraZeneca.
However, research by The Lancet Microbe shows protection via natural immunity can last up to 61 months while studies indicate Covid vaccine protection wanes within six months, which is why they are pushing booster shots on the public.
