Unlike other department stores that have chosen to boycott products by Ivanka Trump, Nordstrom has announced it will not cave in to politics over sales results.
Products by the president-elect’s daughter have been dropped by some retailers as customers have joined the #GrabYourWallet movement, boycotting retailers that carry Ivanka Trump or Trump Organization products, according to Fortune.

The company’s co-president Pete Nordstrom sent an email to employees on Monday reaffirming the retailer’s intention to keep selling the Ivanka Trump brand.

“We’ve heard from customers, including some who are long time loyal customers, threatening a boycott of Nordstrom if we continue to carry the line,” he wrote in the email obtained by Fortune. “Similarly, we’ve heard from customers who say they will boycott Nordstrom if we stop carrying the brand. This is a sharply divisive subject. No matter what we do, we are going to end up disappointing some of our customers.”
