Jane Fonda warns ‘there will be violence’ if Hillary Clinton becomes president!
Jane Fonda fears that there will be violence if Hillary Clinton is elected president. However, she does hope and believe that Hillary will be the next president.
Many cannot tolerate Jane Fonda due to her opposition to the Vietnam war and denouncing American soldiers as war criminals and tortured POWs as possessed of overactive imaginations during the Vietnam war. She later visited Hanoi and at the end of her visit, was photographed seated on a Viet Cong anti-aircraft battery; the controversial photo outraged a number of Americans, and earned her the nickname “Hanoi Jane”.
Speaking at the Tribeca Film Festival in lower Manhattan, Fonda stated,
‘Every time women move forward, there is going to be problems,’. She said that Clinton would face backlash from the nation’s ‘toxic masculinity’ if she were to become the first female President of the United States.
“So one of the things we have to do is help men understand why they are so threatened, and change the way we view masculinity. We have a toxic masculinity and that’s what needs to be addressed.”
Fonda has never been shy to court controversy so what do you think this time? Do you agree that the ‘toxic masculinity’ of today politics would lead to violence if Hillary was elected, or do you just not care what she has to say?
