Speaking on ABC’s “This Week.”, Incoming White House Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, was highly critical of the media when interviewed Sunday over reports that the CIA concluded Russia had tried to interfere in the US presidential election to assist Donald Trump.
“The entire report is based on unnamed sources who are perhaps doing something they shouldn’t be doing by speaking to reporters or speaking out of line.” Priebus also insisted the Republican National Committee (RNC) was not hacked.
“I know of no instance that you’re describing involving the RNC or the RNC’s data,” he said.
“We know where our data is stored, we do,” he added.
The New York Times reported last week that the RNC, which Priebus chairs, was also hacked by Russia, but information was not released.
