Saturday Night Live used Melissa McCarthy — dressed in an ill-fitting suit and blonde wig — to mock the press secretary Saturday night.
Sean Spicer said he thought the “Saturday Night Live” sketch that mocked his performance as White House press secretary was “cute.”
“It was cute,” Spicer said during an interview with Fox and Friends. “It was funny. I’d rather us be talking about the issues the president is so committed to helping Americans on, but you know it’s part of American culture.”
Daily Caller reports,
Spicer said he got a lot of texts about the skit the morning after it aired.
“Walking out of church, I looked down,” he said. “There’s a lot of texts this morning. I had to click on the link and see what it’s all about.”
