The campaign directly raised $9.6 million during those months, an Abrams spokesperson told The Hill, with the One Georgia Leadership Committee raising another $12.3 million on her behalf.
The Abrams campaign touted over 240,000 small donors who contributed $100 or less since December, when the campaign began, according to the outlet. It also has $18.5 million in cash on hand.
Georgia Republican Gov. Brian Kemp, by contrast, brought in $3.8 million directly to his campaign in the same May through June period with the Georgians First Leadership Committee PAC raising a further $3 million.
Abrams’ combined total of roughly $22 million, more than triples Kemp’s sub-$7 million figure.
The pair last faced off in the gubernatorial race in 2018 with Kemp ultimately claiming a narrow win.
