Stephen Baldwin Declares War On Brother Alec Over Support For Georgia Boycott

April 3, 2019 by Liberty Bugle Team

Stephen Baldwin has gone after his brother Alec on twitter for standing against a controversial anti-abortion law in Georgia.

Daily Mail reports:

Alec and more than 50 Hollywood stars have signed a letter threatening Governor Brian Kemp with a filming boycott of the state if he signs the ‘heartbeat’ bill into law.

The new law would prevent abortions from when a fetal heartbeat can be detected – as early as the sixth week of pregnancy.

Stephen – who is the father of Justin Bieber’s wife, Hailey – said he had avoided tweets like this in the past, ‘but for so long I’ve sat back & trusted God as my own family members have perpetrated the spirit of hate … through abortion Mockery & blindness #sad #Alec #hates #pray.’

Prior to this tweet, Stephen wrote: ‘#Hollywood #sad #goingtohell #pray.’

As well as Alec, actors and actresses including Judd Apatow, Mark Ruffalo, Alyssa Milano and Amy Schumer have signed the letter threatening to pull business out of Georgia – a hub for television and movie production – if the ban is enacted.

Georgia’s law currently allows for abortions to the 20th week of pregnancy.

After the bill was passed by lawmakers on Friday the governor must now decide whether or not to stamp it into law by May 12.

Milano has led the charge against Governor Kemp and spoke at the State Capitol on Tuesday about her opposition to the heartbeat bill as activists gathered in Atlanta.

Energized by new conservatives on the Supreme Court, abortion opponents in multiple states hope to ignite new legal battles that could prompt the Supreme Court to revisit 1973’s Roe v. Wade.

Kentucky and Mississippi governors have already approved the bans on abortions once a fetal heartbeat is detected.

Actress Alyssa Milano speaks after delivering a letter to Gov. Brian Kemp’s office detailing her opposition to the heartbeat bill at the State Capitol in Atalanta on Tuesday

A South Carolina House subcommittee passed a bill on Tuesday that would ban almost all abortions if a fetal heartbeat is detected.

Stephen Baldwin’s politics diverge significantly from those of his brother Alec, who has risen to prominence of late with his SNL impression of President Donald Trump.

On the other hand, Stephen – a born-again Christian – is an outspoken fan of Trump on twitter and regularly retweets the President and support for him.
