Rubio: Super Tuesday Analysis Has To Be Re-Calibrated
Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio says failure to win states is overstated, campaign is picking up delegates, and political map looks more promising going forward.
Desperation Sets In As GOP’s Second Golden Boy Flounders
A desperate Marco Rubio goes on and on and on with the Trump insults but forgets to smile and campaign for himself.
Megyn: It’s got to be a rather disappointing night for you not managing to pull off a victory in Virginia . . . or any other state so far.
Marco: I think the analysis has to be re-calibrated here . . .
What Marco seems to have missed is that the Republicans of this country are tired of the good ole’ boy RNC. They are tired of listening to hours of polished politicians droning on and on about what they are going to do for our country. They have been more than patient as the American dream swirls down the drain while their elected representatives do nothing. As far as many Americans are concerned:
“You Had Your Chance, And You Blew It.”
While it might have been your brightest hour when Jeb stepped off the RNC stage and all eyes turned to you. But it might be just that shinning moment that put the coffin nail in your campaign. The American people are done with politicians, they are through being lied to, they have not seen any action, and they don’t want any PACs, megafunds, pundits, newscasters, or political parties telling them how they should vote.
So you can whine about the past, fantasize about the future and wonder about the present, but you, and your cronies on Capital Hill, have been digging yourselves this hole for years.
You may think that Trump is a monster, but you (collectively) created him. Had you done what we elected you to do, there would be no Trump. He wouldn’t have even thrown his hat in the ring.
And did you listen to your logic? From what I could grasp, your message is basically, “Trump spanked me badly, but . . . because I never said that he wouldn’t spank me badly you should vote for me. While, Ted Cruz on the other hand, who has almost twice as many delegates as I do, didn’t do as well as he said he was going to do so that is a second reason you should vote for me.”
Who are your marketing people Marco? Did they really direct this strategy? Don’t they know that you are falling prey to a much more savvy bird? Didn’t they tell you about the one sure way to take yourself down without any help from your New York adversary.
So you may actually believe your statements, but you are probably the only one:
“I’m the only one who can stop Donald Trump, I’m the only one who can unify this party, and I’m the only one who can beat Hillary.”
I like you Marco, but it is not your numbers that are giving you away, or the sour reception you get from the RNC, it’s the deplorable message of doom you are spewing forth and the lost boy demeanor that has come over. Why did you, like others before you, waste all that national television time trashing Trump. It got you nowhere. Why didn’t you tell us about you?
Megyn: He’s beating you right now by 20 points in your home state. He’s going to route you in your home state . . .
Marco: Con-artist, con-artist, con-artist fraud, scam-artist, KKK supporter, con-artist, Democrat, fraud . . . . .
“Trump set you up and you took the bait, again.”
Your tough talk sounds like the desperate words of a drowning man. Do you really think the American voters are going to be swayed your way when your answer to Trump’s home run is to insult, belittle, and disparage him? Don’t forget:
“It’s the people you are speaking to who put him there.”
Trump won’t even respond to your gibberish. He’ll ignore you. He doesn’t need to dig a hole for you when you so willingly dig one for yourself.
