UNBELIEVABLE: This Is Really A Threat To Our National Security?
Once upon a time, the US Army was focused on bizarre objectives like protecting out country, maintaining peace, or quelling foreign threats. Now, disarmed, defunded and intent on becoming politically correct, they have a new pledge:
“To address the implications of climate change and assess associated risks to national security.”
Not long ago our President explained to us how climate change was causing the immigration crises, now it has become a threat to our national security?
Just a few decades ago our Army was the front lines protecting us from nuclear weapons, gas chambers, the cold war, overseas threats and foreign powers invading our borders.
Now we worry about a resurgent Russia, ISIS, Afghan Terrorists, and a very unstable Middle East that seems ready to fall into despotism. And the strong military that was set to stand and did stand in our and our allies’ defense is slowly being dismantled.
While this occurs what does the Army say it needs to do? Concentrate on Climate Change. Really?
The Washington Times reports:
The U.S. Army on Thursday pledged to honor “Earth Day” by “reasserting its pledge to address the implications of climate change and assess associated risks to national security.”
In a special message to soldiers, the Army, which faces deep cuts in the ranks of active duty soldiers, said it is focused on “the role the land plays in ensuring the Army remains ready and resilient.”
The Times continues
“As our Army celebrates Earth Day 2016, please join us in protecting the environment, enabling the Soldiers’ readiness and securing the environmental future for our citizens and our nation. We encourage everyone to join in these efforts by learning more about the Army’s environmental initiatives. Every day around the world, you can make a difference. Army Strong!”
With all that is threatening America, this is our focus?
