On the same day he formally introduced Indiana Gov. Mike Pence as his running mate, Donald Trump’s campaign announced it has expanded to include staffers tasked with aiding the vice presidential candidate.
The expanded team will help Pence with daily operations and interact with Trump’s existing staff, according to a release from the campaign Saturday.

The hires include: Nick Ayers (senior advisor); Marty Obst (manager of vice presidential operations); Josh Pitcock (policy director); Marc Lotter (press secretary); KellyAnne Conway (adviser); and Marc Short (communications adviser).
“The campaign welcomes the addition of Governor Pence and his team of advisors to the ticket. Governor Pence is a man of impeccable character, and his addition to the ticket sends a powerful message to Hillary Clinton that America is not for sale,” campaign chairman Paul Manafort said in the release.
