Voters in at least three counties in Texas have said that they attempted to vote for Republicans, but the Democratic Hillary Clinton/Tim Kaineoption popped up instead of the GOP Donald Trump/Mike Pence ticket, according to NPR.Local election officials reportedly said there is nothing wrong with the machines and claimed the mistakes were due to user error.Larry Norden, a voting technology expert, said the problem is likely due to using old and outdated technology.“Over time, as people vote, that calibration becomes less and less accurate,” Norden told NPR.Trump in recent weeks have been ramping up his claims that the election is rigged against him.He has warned of widespread voter fraud and has said the media is trying to secure a victory for Clinton, the Democratic nominee.
