In a late night tweet, the excited President confirmed that his plans of construction will be “among many other things” to be announced, amid claims he will roll out a series of executive orders to restrict immigration.
The 70-year-old billionaire tweeted: “Big day planned on NATIONAL SECURITY tomorrow. Among many other things, we will build the wall!”

The US President’s election campaign was fuelled by his stark immigration claims, as he initially proposed a temporary ban on Muslims entering the US in a bid to protect citizens from jihadist attacks.
Trump previously said the creation of a US-Mexico border wall will stop illegal Mexican migrants sneaking drugs into the country.
Shortly after his shock election victory was announced, Trump said at a Carrier factory meeting: “One thing that’s not coming through are drugs. The drugs are going to stop. The drugs are going to stop.”
Anonymous sources close to the 45th President have said Trump will order a multi-month ban on allowing refugees to enter the US from certain nations – except for religious minorities escaping persecution – until more aggressive vetting is in place.

The sources also claimed Trump will issue an order to block visas being some people from Syria, Iraq, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.
Although Trump’s tweet confirming the construction of the wall gained almost 100,000 likes, Muslim campaign groups said they were preparing to launch a legal fight with the President to stop a “Muslim ban” being implemented.
Speaking to BuzzFeed, Ibrahim Hooper, spokesperson for the Council on American-Islamic Relations said: “We are preparing for the inevitability of what kind of ‘Muslim ban’ will be implemented, and we’re working with coalition partners to develop a strategy to defend rights and religious freedoms.
