Health and Human Services tweets link to “abortion finder.”
Among the services touted in the post was “AbortionFinder.org,” a website that offers “information about abortion funds and resources, as well as where to find your state’s laws or legal help.”
That website specifically allows searches by young women aged “15 or younger,” and offers them advice on how to avoid seeking parental permission before obtaining the procedure.
“Some states require people under 18 to involve a parent or guardian when getting an abortion,” the site states, offering information on how minors can obtain a “judicial bypass.”
The disturbing promotion was first reported on Wednesday afternoon by the Federalist.
The Supreme Court last week officially repealed Roe v. Wade after nearly 50 years of its being on the federal books. Abortion regulation subsequently returned to the states, many of which quickly moved to restrict it at various levels.
