Fox News Sunday host Chris Wallace tried to get Kellyanne Conway to admit that her team has gone too far in demonizing the press, and boy was he sorry!
Conway went on a breathless rant that likely had many pro-Trumpers cheering like it was a Sunday afternoon football game.

She started by saying the media should operate like a business, where heads roll when someone repeatedly makes major mistakes.
The White House counselor expressed disgust that media outlets refuse to fire overtly biased “journalists” who lie or distort facts when reporting on President Trump.
While being criticized comes with the job, Conway said it’s unfair to President Trump and the public to have reporters with an openly anti-Trump agenda be assigned to cover him.
Conway pointed to the Twitter accounts of most mainstream media “journalists” (who are 90% left-leaning), where reporters tweet snarky, disdainful comments whose only purpose is to undermine President Trump’s credibility and authority.
“It is an anti-Trump screed,” Conway told Wallace. “It is completely disrespectful to the office of the President.”
If any of these mainstream media reporters worked at a corporation, they’d be fired immediately for their unprofessional conduct and propaganda dissemination, she pointed out.
One glaring example is when Time magazine reporter Zeke Miller falsely reported that Trump had removed the bust of Martin Luther King Jr. from the Oval Office. That fake news story was widely circulated before Miller finally issued a retraction.
Last week, reporters from leftist media outlets tweeted the inane fake news report Trump had flickered the White House lights on and off to signal to Fox News that he was watching them that morning.
In both instances, a quick phone call to the White House could have avoided the false news from spreading.
But Conway says anti-Trump mainstream media don’t bother to confirm rumors before reporting them because they’re desperately trying to push their anti-Trump narrative at all costs.
Conway asked why reporters who repeatedly get facts wrong and jump to conclusions before confirming false rumors aren’t fired:
Who is cleaning house? Which one is going to be the first network to get rid of these people? It is always ‘zing,’ it is always playing ‘gotcha!’ Not one network person has been let go. Not one silly political analyst and pundit who talked smack all day long about Donald Trump has been let go.
They are on panels every Sunday, they are on cable news every day. Who is the first editorial writer … the first blogger that will be [fired] that embarrassed him at outlets? I’m too polite to mention their names, but they know who they are, and they are all wondering who will be the first to go.
